Accounts Payable Coordinator

The candidate will process vendor invoices and reconcile statements. Process monthly expense reports. Fund and reconcile various vendor accounts. Reconcile and enter credit card statements. Assist with month end and year end accounts payable reporting. Process operating account check requests. Regular office attendance. Assist with other accounting functions as needed. Understand functionality of all office equipment and systems. Attend educational workshops, joining professional associations, building networks with fellow professional, and reviewing of industry publications to understand best industry practices. College degree in accounting, business, or related discipline; or relevant accounting experience in a professional services firm is required. Should have 2+ years of accounting experience. Strong understanding of GAAP accounting principles and financial reporting is required. Knowledge of accounting software is required.
