Scope of Role Content
Develop and advocate an end-to-end human-centered design (HCD) process within Pharmacy Digital (HCD 'Center of Excellence'). Includes enforcement and governance of the HCD process by which the team drives 'Consumer-first' product development.
Management and development of Centerwell Pharmacy Payer Agnostic proto-personas, personas, and standardized archetypes for the Pharmacy Digital team - with a heavy focus on member/patient/provider.
Establish, curate and maintain a research repository for the Humana - Pharmacy Digital team.
Influence and partner with related UX, UI and Human Centered Design teams across DH&A, Pharmacy CX and Retail. Support teams with appropriate A/B and multivariate testing analysis with partners from across Humana.
Must be able to present empathetic and convincing user experiences to senior leaders across Centerwell Pharmacy and Humana in order to drive alignment and serve as a voice of the consumer in these conversations.
Develop and maintain all end-to-end Centerwell Pharmacy product specific user journeys in partnership with Pharmacy Digital Product Managers' products. Should take into account experiences across DH&A, Retail, Service, and external third-party partners such as Inovalon, SS&C and others. Includes identification of experiential gaps and opportunities that will drive better NPS and an improved Cost of Fill by reducing barriers for first fill, refills and medication adherence.
Develop wireframes and prototypes, although mostly demonstrative, on how a solution and experience may look and function based on an understanding of best practices in human-computer interaction design (HCI). These would be used as directional guidance with partners such as DH&A to inform any final solution designs.
Develop process/roadmap for direct, ongoing, member research - including any surveys, ethnographic research, integrated product utilization analytics, etc. Must be familiar with products such as User Zoom, Pendo or MixPanel.

Role Impact
The Principal Designer (Head of Design) - Pharmacy Digital role is meant to drive best in class consumer-oriented experiences that will shift the entire portfolio to a consumer-first, agile-led, product suite that drives growth across the segment. This role will help ensure the innovation developed from within the Pharmacy Digital team will align with broad user types, company strategy, and integrate with Humana's award-winning insurance products.

Leadership abilities to for motivating team of leaders and professional presence to communicate and influence at senior levels across the organization
Understanding of product analytics and their interpretation to drive changes in consumer experiences.
Connect across the segment and enterprise to leverage and maximize Humana's strengths and capability and articulate the value created for customers
Viewed as partner with matrixed leaders to collaborate on the product development of holistic solutions and development of those solution benchmarks.
Make decisions and set own agenda for delivering on outcomes, and articulate barriers and challenges and create strategic scenarios for analysis and discussion
