Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Global Finance Associate specializing in Private Credit for its New York office. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years of experience in syndicated lending and/or private credit transactions, representing either borrowers or lenders. Familiarity with sponsor finance and LBO finance is preferred.

Duties

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents.
• Lead financing transactions for borrower and lender clients.

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of experience in syndicated lending or private credit.
• Experience representing borrowers or lenders.
• Familiarity with sponsor finance and LBO finance preferred.
• Admitted or eligible for admission to the New York bar.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission.

Skills

• Strong drafting and negotiation skills.
• Ability to lead complex financing transactions.
