Legal Administrative Assistant - Litigation
The candidate will be prioritizing assignments and preparing sensitive and detailed correspondence. Preparing routine and non-routine correspondence, legal documents, forms, and presentations using advanced knowledge and skills with word processing and other software programs. Coordinating with billing attorneys on all monthly pre-bills and necessary revisions; preparing bills for mailing, maintaining billing records and entering attorney time. Professionally answering, screening and placing calls; communicating messages appropriately. Effectively obtaining familiarity with routine office procedures and forms in order to respond to detailed inquiries concerning departmental activities and operations. Interacting professionally with members of other departments and varied external contacts and assisting where needed. Scheduling appointments, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, and maintaining business calendars. Should have 2+ years related work experience; experience supporting a legal practice is preferred.
