Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Innovation Lawyer - Finance in Atlanta, GA. This role is embedded within the Technology Department and aligned with the Corporate & Finance Transactions Department. The position focuses on developing and driving AI strategy for transactional lawyers, particularly in finance work. The successful candidate will engage in firm-wide projects and collaborate with other professionals to deliver AI transformation across the firm's global network.

Duties

• Identify high-value AI use cases across Finance Teams.
• Support pilots of AI platforms with the LEAP Taskforce.
• Standardize and scale AI solutions across Finance Teams.
• Provide AI support and assistance to lawyers.
• Embed AI in associate training programs.
• Prepare and deliver AI-related presentations and trainings.
• Collaborate with Knowledge Solutions and Innovation teams.

Requirements

• At least 5 years' experience as a finance lawyer in a large law firm.
• Experience in a legal technology role or a strong interest in AI.
• Understanding of legal finance workflows and a process-driven mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Service-oriented with a can-do attitude.
• Flexibility to support firm priorities and strategies.
• Understanding of product development and management is desirable.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
