A law firm is seeking a Litigation Member Attorney for their Atlanta, GA location.

Job Overview: The Litigation Member Attorney will spearhead litigation matters, representing clients in Georgia. This role mandates a Juris Doctorate or higher degree and active licensure to practice law in Georgia, coupled with a minimum of 7 years of litigation experience.

Duties:

• Lead litigation initiatives, serving as the primary legal representative for clients in Georgia.
• Oversee all facets of litigation, including devising case strategies, managing discovery processes, drafting pleadings and motions, and preparing for trials.
• Conduct extensive legal research and compose various legal documents, such as briefs and memoranda.
• Engage in communication and negotiation with clients, opposing counsel, and judicial authorities.
• Attend and represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, depositions, mediations, and trials.
• Offer legal counsel and guidance to clients, ensuring their interests are advocated effectively throughout legal proceedings.

Requirements:

• Possession of a Juris Doctorate or superior legal degree.
• Active licensure to practice law in Georgia.
• Demonstrated experience of 7+ years in litigation within a legal setting.
• Proficiency in litigation procedures, encompassing case strategy formulation, discovery management, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a keen ability to articulate legal arguments persuasively.
• Aptitude for working autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Demonstrated leadership capabilities, including the ability to mentor junior attorneys and effectively manage legal staff.

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctorate or higher degree from an accredited law school.
• Active licensure to practice law in Georgia.
