A law firm is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with the following qualifications:

Job Overview:

The Junior Associate Attorney will handle various legal matters under supervision while exercising good judgment and maintaining professional communication with clients. They should demonstrate strong research, writing, and analytical skills and manage deadlines effectively.

Duties:

• Exercise good judgment in various legal situations, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Handle assigned caseload independently and with supervision.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery demands, etc.
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, and motion practice.
• Conduct extensive legal research.
• Maintain excellent relationships with clients, adhering to client guidelines.
• Ensure all deadlines are met promptly.
• Accurately record and maintain billable hours.

Requirements:

• Admission to practice law in New York (PA, NJ, and CT is a plus).
• Experience in federal court proceedings is advantageous.
• 8+ years of experience in defense litigation.
• Strong and professional communication skills.
• Exceptional writing, research, and analytical skills.

Education & Certifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York State Bar (Admission in PA, NJ, and CT is a plus).

Skills:

• Ability to exercise good judgment in various situations.
