Duties:

• Represent clients in Texas state courts, handling personal injury and wrongful death lawsuits
• Manage complex litigation matters in diverse practice areas including transportation, construction, premises liability, and energy
• Conduct legal research, draft motions, pleadings, and discovery responses
• Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial proceedings
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and team members to develop case strategies
• Provide clear, concise, and effective communication with clients and opposing counsel
• Stay up-to-date with developments in relevant law and litigation techniques

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in Texas state courts
• Proven background in defending personal injury and wrongful death cases
• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
• A desire to build trial skills and work in a collaborative team environment
• Active license to practice law in Texas

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Texas
