This role focuses on representing school boards, administrators, teachers, and education professionals in administrative hearings and state and federal court proceedings, including trial and appellate levels. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research and writing skills, courtroom experience, and a genuine interest in education law. Location

Duties

• Represent clients in administrative proceedings and litigation involving educational institutions

• Draft legal memoranda, pleadings, motions, and appellate briefs

• Conduct legal research and analysis on education-related matters

• Provide counsel to school boards, administrators, and education personnel

• Appear in state and federal trial and appellate courts

• Support senior attorneys in complex education law cases and hearings

Requirements

• Demonstrated interest or experience in education law

• Experience in litigation or administrative proceedings preferred

• Judicial clerkship or private practice experience considered a plus

• Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active and in good standing with the relevant state bar (jurisdiction disclosed upon application)
