Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications, including drafting detailed claims and specifications.
  • Manage the patent application process from filing to final approval, including responding to office actions.
  • Conduct thorough technical analyses related to wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Perform prior art searches and provide assessments on patentability.
  • Collaborate with inventors and clients to strategize patent portfolios and intellectual property protections.
  • Review and analyze technical documents and patent filings for accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide technical and legal advice on intellectual property matters.
  • Prepare reports and updates on patent application statuses and strategies.
  • Stay informed about changes in patent laws and advancements in relevant technical fields.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Technical experience with wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Proven skills in preparing and prosecuting patent applications.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Education:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.

Certifications:

  • Registration with the USPTO is preferred.
