Job Overview:
A well-established law firm located in the Greater Philadelphia area is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Associate Attorney with expertise in appellate advocacy, general litigation, product liability, and professional liability. This role presents an excellent opportunity for attorneys with 3+ years of experience to advance their careers in a dynamic and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for litigation, along with the ability to independently manage cases from inception to appeal, while working closely with a supportive team of legal professionals.

Duties:

• Independently manage a caseload, collaborating with senior attorneys when necessary
• Draft and file appellate briefs, motions, and various legal documents
• Conduct detailed legal research and produce comprehensive analyses
• Participate in depositions, court appearances, and oral arguments
• Offer strategic legal counsel and build strong, ongoing client relationships
• Ensure adherence to client guidelines and meet all case deadlines
• Maintain accurate billing records and track billable hours

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in general litigation, product liability, and professional liability
• Active admission to the Pennsylvania State Bar (additional admissions in NY, NJ, and/or CT a plus)
• Proven experience in federal court and appellate advocacy
• Exceptional research, writing, and analytical skills, with an unwavering attention to detail
• Ability to handle complex litigation matters with sound judgment and professional discretion

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to practice law in Pennsylvania; additional states (NY, NJ, CT) are a plus

Skills:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Expertise in legal research and analysis
• Proficiency in drafting legal documents and briefs
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
