A law firm in West Palm Beach is looking for an Associate Attorney with a background in first-party property insurance law. This position requires a candidate with 1-5 years of experience, ideally with defense experience, though liability expertise is also beneficial. The role involves representing clients in legal matters, drafting legal documents, and offering strategic legal counsel.

Duties:

• Represent clients in legal proceedings and court hearings.
• Draft, review, and file various legal documents.
• Provide legal counsel and guidance to clients.
• Negotiate settlements for disputes and claims.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable legal standards and regulations.

Requirements:

• Must hold a valid Florida Bar license.
• Minimum of 1-5 years of experience in first-party property insurance law; liability experience is a plus.
• Proficient in Office 365, including Word and Outlook.
• Knowledgeable in handling legal documents and procedures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Capable of building strong relationships with clients.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Active Florida Bar membership.
