Job Overview:

The Practice Resource Attorney - Leveraged Finance will play a crucial role in supporting the firm's leveraged finance practice by managing knowledge management initiatives, staying abreast of market trends, enhancing practice efficiency through technology, and contributing to client engagement and business development efforts.

Duties:

• Manage the firm's training program, including content development, expansion, and coordination with partners and associates.
• Track key debt market developments and maintain a database of essential financing terms.
• Administer the firm's SharePoint site as a repository for precedents, training materials, and client presentations.
• Assist in preparing client trainings, articles, and speaking engagement materials to raise the firm's market profile.
• Evaluate technological resources to optimize practice efficiency.
• Provide ongoing support to attorneys and assist in resource creation.
• Collaborate with business development to promote client initiatives and develop presentation materials.
• Design and deliver training programs for associates and summer associates.
• Organize and maintain internal SharePoint site, tagging and uploading relevant resources.
• Stay updated on changes in laws, market data, and best practices to maintain model forms.
• Draft blog posts, internal presentations, and client materials on legal and market developments.
• Conduct market research on transactions and industries.
• Collaborate with global leveraged finance knowledge team to optimize resources.
• Communicate important market developments to the US and global leveraged finance teams and clients.
• Participate in relevant industry organizations.
• Attend webinars and conferences to stay updated on legal technology relevant to leveraged finance.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) required.
• Minimum 5 years of bank loan financing experience in a large law firm with an active leveraged finance practice.
• Experience representing private capital firms preferred.
• Strong understanding of leveraged finance market trends and terminology.
• Proficiency in SharePoint management and other relevant technologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Proven ability to conduct legal research and draft high-quality documents.
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
