A top-tier law firm is seeking a talented Associate to join its Antitrust & Competition Practice, with a focus on litigation and/or merger control. This role is best suited for candidates with 2+ years of experience and a strong foundation in antitrust law. The position offers a dynamic, fast-paced environment handling high-profile matters involving regulatory agencies and major corporate clients.
Represent clients in antitrust litigation, including government investigations and private actions.
Advise on merger control issues, including Hart-Scott-Rodino (HSR) filings and cross-border regulatory compliance.
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, motions, briefs, and other filings.
Collaborate with multi-office teams on strategy and execution in complex matters.
Counsel clients on antitrust compliance and competition law developments.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in antitrust litigation and/or merger control.
Experience with federal antitrust statutes and enforcement agencies (DOJ, FTC).
Familiarity with multijurisdictional merger review processes.
Ability to manage competing deadlines and work collaboratively in a high-performance environment.
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
Active member in good standing with the bar of the jurisdiction in which the position is based or where the candidate resides.
Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
Deep understanding of antitrust and competition law principles.
Excellent communication and advocacy skills, both written and oral.
High attention to detail and ability to manage complex, fast-moving cases.
