A law firm seeks an Associate Attorney with expertise in wage and hour litigation to join their team in Cerritos, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in handling class and PAGA actions, demonstrating strong litigation skills and a commitment to client service.

Duties

• Defend class and PAGA claims in state and federal court.
• Conduct document and data reviews related to wage and hour claims.
• Prepare case evaluations for clients in class/PAGA actions.
• Prepare and respond to discovery requests in class/PAGA matters.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Engage in law and motion work, including arbitration and dispositive motions.
• Prepare for and attend mediations, including drafting mediation briefs.
• Attend court hearings and argue dispositive motions.

Requirements

• 3-7+ years of wage and hour litigation experience.
• Admitted to practice law in the State of California.
• Arbitration and/or trial experience preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in California.
