Duties
- Defend class and PAGA claims in state and federal court.
- Conduct document and data reviews related to wage and hour claims.
- Prepare case evaluations for clients in class/PAGA actions.
- Prepare and respond to discovery requests in class/PAGA matters.
- Conduct and defend depositions.
- Engage in law and motion work, including arbitration and dispositive motions.
- Prepare for and attend mediations, including drafting mediation briefs.
- Attend court hearings and argue dispositive motions.
Requirements
- 3-7+ years of wage and hour litigation experience.
- Admitted to practice law in the State of California.
- Arbitration and/or trial experience preferred.
Education
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
Certifications
- Licensed to practice law in California.
