Duties
- Review title examinations to identify defects.
- Prepare, review, and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, deeds, easements, options, and closing documents.
- Draft and approve title endorsements.
- Engage in due diligence related to real estate transactions.
- Manage deals from agreement to closing, including tracking critical dates and preparing closing documents.
- Draft and review complex operating agreements.
- Draft and negotiate loan documents.
- Draft and negotiate various business transactions, including corporate, LLC, and partnership formations.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Active and in good standing with the Louisiana State Bar.
- At least two years of commercial real estate and corporate law experience.
- Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
