Profile

A law firm seeks a Private Investment Fund and Investment Management Associate to lead private fund formations and oversee investment adviser registration and compliance matters.

Duties

• Structure and document private equity, venture capital, credit, and hedge fund formations.

• Advise on SEC and state investment adviser registration requirements and filings.

• Develop and implement compliance policies, procedures, and disclosure documents.

• Coordinate with regulators, custodians, and service providers to ensure ongoing compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum of four years’ experience in private fund formation (PE, VC, credit, or hedge funds).

• Demonstrated knowledge of investment adviser registration and regulatory compliance.

• Strong drafting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

• Proven capacity to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners.

Education

• Juris Doctor from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active membership in a U.S. state bar.

• Expertise in legal research and regulatory analysis.

• Proficiency in developing compliance programs and drafting policy manuals.
