Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Mid-Senior Real Estate Associate to join its Real Estate Practice Group in Cary, NC. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in commercial real estate and financing transactions, including mixed-use, office, multi-family, retail assets, hotels, resorts, and other commercial projects.

Duties

• Draft, negotiate, and manage documents related to real estate and financing transactions.
• Engage in purchase and sale agreements, licenses, leases, and loan agreements.
• Collaborate on easements, CC&Rs, development-related agreements, and property management agreements.
• Interact directly with partners and clients, providing outstanding client service.
• Mentor and support junior attorneys.

Requirements

• 5th-8th year associate with significant experience in commercial real estate.
• Strong writing, communication, and project management skills.
• Experience in real estate development and joint venture work preferred.
• Sound judgment and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Education

• JD from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active member of the Bar in the jurisdiction(s) of practice.
