Duties

• Handle commercial litigation matters through all phases, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests and responses.
• Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda on complex commercial and contractual issues.
• Take and defend depositions and assist with expert discovery.
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and the court.
• Support senior attorneys with case strategy and overall case management.

Requirements

• 3 years of commercial litigation experience, including experience in state and/or federal court.
• Strong motion practice and discovery experience.
• Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines efficiently.
• Excellent written and oral advocacy skills.
• Strong professional judgment and attention to detail.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active state bar admission in good standing.

Skills

• Advanced legal research and writing skills.
• Experience with complex commercial disputes, including contract, business tort, and fraud claims.
• Deposition and courtroom experience.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and case management abilities.
