Senior Claims Adjuster - MCM
Duties: Model ethical behavior and execute job responsibilities in accordance with Citizens core values, ethics, and information protection policies. Negotiates and settles claims in accordance with Citizens Best Claims Practices and Estimating Guidelines and industry standards. Researches, analyzes and interprets policy language and state law as it applies to submitted claims. Demonstrates proficiency in conducting investigations, damage assessments and claim evaluations. Documents all relevant information in the electronic claims management system. Contributes to the business production goals and objectives. Participates in workload surges and/or catastrophe response as needed, to include mandated overtime during specified catastrophic events. May assist with other Business Units as needed. May coach, counsel or train less-experienced staff, may also direct the work of others, may provide input in the performance management, goal setting and review processes.
