Mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in Miami is seeking a Mid-level Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience. The successful candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, outstanding academic credentials, and a strong work ethic. They will support commercial litigation activities across various areas, including franchise, intellectual property rights, real estate, and general commercial litigation. Participation in marketing and business development activities, as well as prior law firm experience, is preferred. Bilingual capabilities are also preferred.

Duties:

• Provide legal counsel and representation in commercial litigation matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other court documents.
• Analyze legal issues and provide strategic advice to clients.
• Assist in all stages of litigation, including discovery, trial preparation, and appeals.
• Collaborate with partners, associates, and support staff to effectively manage cases.
• Participate in marketing and business development activities, including client pitches and presentations.

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience in commercial litigation.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and take on significant responsibility in cases.
• Juris doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
• Prior law firm experience preferred.
• Bilingual capabilities preferred.

Education:

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

Admitted to and in good standing with the Florida Bar.
