A law firm seeks a mid-level Corporate M&A Associate to join its growing practice group in Cleveland, Ohio. The successful candidate will hold a law license in the state of Ohio and possess a strong background in corporate law, particularly in mergers and acquisitions.

Duties

• Negotiate and draft primary and ancillary documents for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and loan transactions.
• Lead M&A due diligence for both targets and acquirers.
• Advise on transaction and entity structuring and related tax matters.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Corporate/M&A law.
• Broad knowledge of general corporate law and transaction structuring.
• Superior written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
