Duties:

  • Communicate regularly with clients, providing updates and legal advice on their cases.
  • Prepare for and appear in court hearings and trials, advocating effectively for clients.
  • Work collaboratively with other family law team members to ensure comprehensive case management.
  • Participate in mediation and negotiations to achieve favorable settlements for clients.
  • Maintain high standards of legal practice and compliance with all court rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Licensed to practice law in California.
  • Proven experience in family law, demonstrating a strong understanding of the complexities involved.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and professionalism in work product.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously under tight deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive matters discreetly and professionally.

Education:

  • Juris Doctorate required.

Certifications:

  • Must be a member in good standing with the California State Bar.

Skills:

  • Proficiency in legal research databases and tools.
  • Skilled in negotiation and conflict resolution.
  • Strong litigation skills with experience in trial preparation and execution.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
