Job Overview

A law firm seeks a mid-level associate for its Litigation Practice Group in Los Angeles, CA. The candidate should have 2-5 years of recent litigation experience, preferably in trust and probate litigation, or a strong willingness to learn. Experience in California courts and related administrative or drafting experience is advantageous. Candidates must be licensed to practice in California and possess strong writing skills and excellent academic credentials.

Duties

• Conduct legal research and analysis for pleadings and memoranda.
• Draft pleadings and other case documents.
• Attend hearings and manage cases from start to resolution.
• Communicate professionally with clients and supervising attorneys.

Requirements

• Juris Doctorate with excellent academic credentials.
• Licensed to practice law in California and in good standing.
• Familiarity with federal and state court procedural rules.
• Experience in case management and drafting litigation documents.
• Strong negotiating and communication skills.
• Ability to learn new legal topics and provide reliable legal services.
• Effective under pressure with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

• Juris Doctorate
