Duties

• Defend insureds and carriers in general liability, injury, and property-damage cases.

• Handle automotive, transportation, and premises liability matters.

• Litigate construction defect and product liability defense cases.

• Conduct depositions, draft dispositive motions, and appear in court regularly.

• Manage discovery, settlement negotiations, and case evaluations.

• Communicate with claims adjusters, carriers, and corporate representatives.

Requirements

• 1–10+ years of litigation experience, ideally in insurance defense.

• Background in general liability, injury, or construction defect matters preferred.

• Strong writing, motion practice, and courtroom skills.

• Ability to manage active defense caseloads and deadlines.

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
