GENERAL FUNCTION:

GE announced its intention to spin off the GE Healthcare business into a public company in early 2023. Reporting to the Senior Executive, Investor Relations (IR) at GE, responsible for Healthcare, the Executive Director of Investor Relations will work closely with Corporate IR on GE Healthcare financial communications. After the spin-off is complete, this person will transition into the Healthcare IR department, reporting to the Head of IR, who will also transition to GE Healthcare. This role will assist with messaging GE Healthcare’s strategy, growth opportunities and business initiatives in a way that creates clarity, consistency and widespread understanding among investors and analysts. The Company seeks an individual with experience in Investor Relations and FP&A at a Fortune 500, publicly traded company. The person will have experience in the Healthcare sector. Experience with spin-off transactions is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with the IR and finance teams at GE (pre-spin) and GE Healthcare to execute IR activities in support of the spin-off, including message collaboration, investor and analyst targeting, development of IR website, and helping to execute key IR events such as the Investor Day and roadshows in support of the transaction and after.

Exhibit a deep understanding of financial and industry fundamentals for crafting communications to stakeholders.

Experience interacting with senior and executive management of public companies.

Develop, maintain and enhance working relationships with institutions in the financial community that hold, or may hold, the organization's stock or debt.

Assist in preparing earnings call messaging and ensuring consistency across various documents.

Collaborate on messaging for annual IR conferences and non-deal road show materials, including slides, talking points and Q&A.

Monitor GE Healthcare’s institutional ownership, trading trends and valuation metrics. Stay apprised of market sentiment and reactions of Company and Industry developments to be reported to Executive Management.

Collaborate on annual report and CEO letter to stakeholders.

Monitor GE Healthcare analyst coverage and estimates for peers and competitors as well as other industry developments.

Conduct institutional targeting analysis in IR software platform and in partnership with targeting consultant, including Environment Social Governance (ESG) funds.

Assess peer investor slides and recommend improvements to GE Healthcare corporate slide set.

Manage IR portion of company website on regular basis.

Analyze and review peer annual reports for potential enhancements in reporting. Help drive design concept and message development.

Ensure ongoing message consistency between IR and Corporate Communications programs that convey business strategy.

Work with accounting and legal teams to ensure investor communications are consistent with SEC filings and other Regulation FD-compliant disclosures.

Perform industry benchmarking of disclosure practices and treatment of financial data, e.g., non-GAAP disclosures in partnership with FP&A. Investigate regulatory changes that impact IR messaging.

Participate in ESG webinars and share notes with Communications and ESG team, proposing enhancements to our program.

Collaborate on ESG rating agency survey inquiries and conduct analysis to determine which are most important to shareholders.

Help drive IR ESG messaging as part of IR website, corporate slide set and talking points for ESG conferences.

MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:

Typically 15 or more years of increasing responsibility and complexity in terms of any applicable professional experience.

PREFERRED EDUCATION:

Typically a bachelor’s degree or global equivalent in related discipline. Master's degree or global equivalent preferred.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

Experience at a public Healthcare company is preferred.

An in-depth understanding of the financial markets and financial modeling techniques used by security analysts to project a company's operating and financial performance.

Ability to draft messaging to be used by senior leaders to convey business strategy and growth opportunities to external constituents.

Knowledge of ESG concepts and ability to synthesize a breadth of ESG issues. Familiarity with climate science and related green building certifications is preferred.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of a Workiva a plus.

TRAVEL / PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Travel up to 25%. Office environment. No special physical demands required.
