Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Government Procurement Partner with at least 10 years of experience to join their Denver, CO office. The ideal candidate will guide businesses through the government procurement process, offering strategic advice to navigate statutory and regulatory challenges. A book of portable business is required.

Duties

• Guide clients through federal, state, and municipal procurement processes.
• Advise on Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and DFARS issues.
• Handle bid protests and requests for equitable adjustments.
• Address ITAR, trade, and customs issues.
• Review and negotiate procurement contracts and agreements.
• Lead and grow the government procurement practice.

Requirements

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
• 10+ years of experience in government procurement and commercial contracting.
• Valid license to practice law in the jurisdiction of the position.
• Strong business development skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Education

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Valid law license in the relevant jurisdiction.
