Duties

• Attend mediations, trials, and hearings.
• Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with various departments for operational and legal compliance.
• Manage attorneys and paralegals.
• Develop departmental policies and goals.
• Travel as needed for business purposes.
• Engage in writing and presenting to clients and associations.
• Participate in marketing and business development initiatives.
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects and cases.

Requirements

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice in Michigan.
• Minimum of eight years of litigation and default management (foreclosure, title, bankruptcy, evictions, and REO) experience.
• Member of the state Bar with maintained licensing and education requirements.
• Experience in managing employees and P&L responsibilities.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Michigan.
