Requirements

• Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with California employment laws or willingness to learn.
• Interest in maritime law preferred.
• Deposition taking skills and interest.
• Substantial California discovery experience.
• Local or commute-friendly to Long Beach.
• Membership in the California State Bar required.
• On-site work required with remote work capability.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
