Location:

• Chesapeake, VA

Duties:

• Review bankruptcy pleadings and claims to be filed in the respective jurisdiction

• Manage routine bankruptcy matters

• Monitor electronic bankruptcy filings (ECFs)

• Attend regular bankruptcy hearings

• Communicate regularly with clients, opposing counsel, and trustees

• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Strong ability to organize and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines

• Ability to produce accurate, high-quality work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills

• Capable of working independently

• Ability to effectively communicate through verbal and written electronic correspondence

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active Virginia or Maryland Bar License required

Skills:

• Intermediate to advanced computer and office skills

• Strong interpersonal communication skills

• Meticulous analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to analyze corrective action opportunities and present recommendations
