A law firm seeks an Immigration Law Associate Attorney in Austin, TX. The successful candidate will manage a diverse caseload, including family-based, citizenship, humanitarian, and removal defense cases. Duties

• Meet with clients to advise on cases and develop strategies, including complex scenarios.
• Prepare applications, petitions, and affidavits for immigration benefits.
• Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Guide clients through the immigration system, including USCIS, Consulates, and EOIR.
• Attend interviews and court hearings in San Antonio to represent clients.
• Supervise and train paralegals and staff.

Requirements

• J.D. degree from an ABA-approved law school and active bar membership in any U.S. state.
• 5 years of relevant immigration law or policy experience preferred.
• Federal court litigation experience is a plus.
• Fluency in Spanish is required.
• Commitment to long-term growth in immigration law.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a client-centered mindset.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an ABA-approved law school.

Certifications

• Active bar membership in good standing in any U.S. state.
