A law firm is seeking a highly skilled CPU Design Technology Specialist to contribute to the patent application process, provide technical expertise to patent litigation teams, and actively engage with inventors to assess and capture innovative ideas. The role requires a strong background in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering, with specific expertise in CPU Design and virtual memory management.

Job Details:

  • Draft patent applications for innovative clients, providing detailed descriptions and figures.
  • Correspond with the patent office to address inquiries and updates related to pending patent applications.
  • Advise patent litigation teams based on technical and scientific expertise in the area of CPU Design.
  • Conduct interviews with inventors to gain insights into new ideas and technological innovations.

Requirements:

  • Strong background in either Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience with CPU Design, including virtual memory management.
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of patent prosecution experience.

Skills:

  • Superior writing skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Excellent academic credentials in the field of Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.
  • Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications:

  • Registration before the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office is preferred.
