Represent clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and property division
Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements
Conduct legal research and apply knowledge of family law to develop case strategies
Attend and advocate in court hearings, mediations, and trials
Provide legal counsel and consistent communication to clients throughout the case lifecycle
Collaborate with paralegals, administrative staff, and other attorneys for effective case management
2–5 years of family law litigation experience
Strong working knowledge of North Carolina family law
Ability to manage a full caseload and court calendar
Client-centered mindset with a high level of professionalism
Ability to thrive in a structured and supportive firm environment
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing with the North Carolina State Bar
Excellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Comfortable with legal technology and practice management tools
