A reputable law firm in Providence, RI, is seeking an experienced and dedicated Litigation Attorney to join its growing team. Duties:

• Manage a portfolio of personal injury and medical malpractice cases from start to finish.
• Engage with clients regularly for case intake and continued communication.
• Draft demand letters and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Represent clients in depositions, arbitrations, mediations, and trials.
• Conduct legal research and apply principles in motion practice and litigation.
• Participate in weekly team meetings to assess and advance injury and malpractice cases.
• Collaborate with senior and junior attorneys, as well as paralegals, on complex cases.
• Actively contribute to all phases of client representation, from intake to resolution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in litigation, particularly in personal injury and medical malpractice.
• Proven experience in handling complex litigation cases.
• Strong client management skills, with a demonstrated ability to meet clients' needs efficiently.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Excellent analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing capabilities.
• Licensed to practice law in Rhode Island (additional licenses in Massachusetts or Connecticut are a plus).

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Must be licensed to practice law in Rhode Island.
• Licensure in Massachusetts and/or Connecticut is advantageous.
