A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a dynamic Junior Associate Attorney with 1-2 years of experience to join their team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in summarizing legal documents, participating in negotiations, drafting contracts, and supporting various legal functions under attorney supervision.

Duties:

• Summarize legal documents and negotiation points for partner review.
• Actively participate in negotiations with clients and dealers.
• Review and draft contracts under the supervision of experienced attorneys.
• Assist in Client's due diligence functions.
• Facilitate effective communication between clients and attorneys.
• Contribute to the development and testing of web-based legal applications.
• Track and maintain records of ongoing negotiations.
• Provide assistance with file management and project tracking.
• Offer support to administrative staff in various tasks.
• Conduct research on legal precedent and audit existing contracts.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience in a legal role.
• Juris Doctorate Degree.

Skills:

• Proficient in MS Excel and Word.
• Knowledge of PowerPoint is helpful.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Demonstrates a strong interest in legal frameworks and financial markets.
