Collaborate with senior litigators to shape and execute defense strategies in medical malpractice cases
Draft and analyze pleadings, motions, legal correspondence, and discovery documents
Review and assess medical records and related documentation
Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, and case conferences
Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other substantive filings
Coordinate with medical experts and engage in the preparation of expert testimony
Participate in all stages of litigation, from inception to resolution
Maintain direct client interaction and contribute to case strategy discussions
Licensed to practice law in New York, or awaiting admission after passing the NY Bar
1 to 4 years of litigation experience, preferably in the medical malpractice or healthcare domain
Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple caseloads
Skilled in legal analysis and research, with a focus on medical and healthcare-related issues
Strong interpersonal skills for client and colleague engagement
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
New York State Bar admission (or pending with Bar passage)
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong legal drafting and analytical skills
Capable of navigating complex medical records
Ability to effectively manage time and deadlines
Confident in courtroom and client-facing settings
