A respected law firm based in Denver, CO, is actively seeking a seasoned trial attorney to manage complex personal injury litigation cases from initiation through trial. This role is ideal for a driven litigator with a track record of civil jury trials and an in-depth understanding of Colorado’s procedural landscape. The position offers support from a full-time paralegal, resources for case development, and autonomy in managing caseload and schedule.

Duties:

• Handle personal injury litigation cases from filing to trial

• Conduct depositions of parties and expert witnesses

• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses

• Analyze case files and identify key legal and evidentiary issues

• Retain and collaborate with expert witnesses; prepare expert disclosures

• Engage in settlement negotiations and trial preparation

• Maintain docket deadlines and adhere to court timelines

• Collaborate with legal support staff for case development and management

Requirements:

• Active license to practice law in Colorado

• Admission to the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado

• Minimum of 5 years of civil litigation experience in personal injury

• Demonstrated experience managing a full litigation docket

• Successful completion of multiple civil jury trials

• Familiarity with the Colorado Rules of Civil Procedure

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Colorado Bar

• Federal Court admission (District of Colorado) required

Skills:
