Job Overview: The Intellectual Property Transactions Associate Attorney will be responsible for structuring, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various agreements related to IP, technology, and other commercial matters. This includes agreements on SaaS platforms and software offerings, strategic alliances, media sales, IP licenses, consulting, equipment purchase and support, distribution, sponsorship and marketing, and joint development. Additionally, support for the IP components of M&A deals will be required. The ideal candidate will serve a diverse client base, including emerging growth, Mountain West mid-market, and coastal Fortune 500 companies.

Duties:

• Structure, draft, review, and negotiate various IP-related agreements and contracts.
• Provide support for the IP aspects of M&A transactions.
• Serve a diverse client base ranging from emerging growth to Fortune 500 companies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations about IP transactions.

Requirements:

• J.D. from a top-tier law school with an excellent academic record.
• 1-5 years of relevant law firm experience, preferably with a nationally recognized or Mountain West-based firm.
• Exceptional drafting skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and take initiative.
• Must be licensed to practice law in Colorado or be willing to obtain Colorado or Idaho licensure.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a top-tier law school.

Certifications:

• Colorado or Idaho Bar license (or willingness to obtain).
