Job Overview

A law firm seeks a talented Litigation Associate to join their Commercial Litigation group in New York. The ideal candidate will have experience managing key phases of complex commercial disputes, including discovery, legal research, and trial preparation.

Duties

• Manage written and document discovery processes.
• Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, pleadings, and motions.
• Take and defend depositions.
• Assist with witness preparation.
• Support all aspects of trial preparation and strategy.

Requirements

• Admitted to the bar in the jurisdiction of the primary office.
• Outstanding academic credentials.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in conducting discovery and drafting pleadings and motions.
• Experience with both defense and plaintiff side litigation is a plus.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Bar admission in the relevant jurisdiction.

Skills
