Job Overview

A law firm seeks an Employment Litigation Associate to join its Phoenix, AZ office. The successful candidate will work on a variety of employment-related claims and provide legal counsel to employers on labor law issues.

Duties

• Defend and litigate lawsuits involving employment-related claims and discrimination charges.
• Advise and train employers on employment and labor law issues.
• Represent employers in court, before administrative agencies, and in mediations and arbitrations.

Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
• 2+ years of experience, with a strong preference for an employment law background.
• Current AZ Bar admission in good standing.
• Understanding of state and federal agency procedures.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.

Certifications

• Admission to the Arizona Bar.
