This full-time, in-person role involves working on significant cases, including car crashes, medical malpractice, and nursing home negligence. Duties

• Lead initial client consultations and evaluate case viability.
• Manage a docket of pre-litigation personal injury matters.
• Oversee complex, high-value personal injury cases from intake through resolution.
• Conduct discovery, including drafting and responding to interrogatories and requests for documents.
• Perform comprehensive legal research and produce persuasive legal writing.
• Develop and execute strategic case plans through trial.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
• Take and defend depositions, and represent clients in mediations and court proceedings.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including paralegals.
• Maintain proactive and clear communication with clients.
• Contribute to firm strategy and growth through collaboration and leadership.
• Try cases in court.

Requirements

• Licensed attorney in the state of Ohio.
• 2-6+ years of experience handling personal injury cases.
• Proven track record of success.
• Highly organized and strategic with a tenacious work ethic.
• Committed to professional growth and team collaboration.
• Client-centered and detail-driven.

Education

• Juris Doctor degree.

Certifications

• Licensed to practice law in Ohio.
