Job Title: Litigation Attorney

Job Overview:
A law firm based in Framingham, MA, is seeking a seasoned litigation attorney to handle a high-volume docket of complex commercial matters, with an emphasis on collection enforcement and construction-related disputes. The ideal candidate will bring substantial courtroom experience, a self-sufficient client portfolio, and a strategic mindset for growing within a collaborative litigation practice. Duties:

• Draft and submit pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda

• Argue motions and represent clients in court appearances

• Develop discovery strategies and manage related documentation

• Conduct an in-depth investigation of client claims and account histories

• Collaborate with clients, witnesses, courts, law enforcement, and opposing counsel

• Maintain and organize legal files and client records

• Lead bench and jury trials in both state and federal courts

• Supervise staff and provide strategic litigation guidance

• Oversee all facets of civil litigation, from inception through trial

Requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in civil litigation, particularly commercial and construction matters

• Proven trial experience beyond small claims proceedings

• Demonstrated ability to independently manage a robust caseload

• Strong client relationship skills and business development acumen

• Existing client base with verifiable portable billings

• Commitment to in-office work in a collaborative legal environment

• COVID-19 vaccination required

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Active license to practice law in Massachusetts
