A law firm seeks an Employment Transactions Associate in Palo Alto, CA. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of experience in company-side labor and employment law matters, with a focus on transactional and counseling work within the Corporate/Private Equity practice.

Duties

• Conduct employment-related diligence on M&A transactions.
• Provide daily employment advising and handle related matters.
• Draft and review contracts and legal documents.
• Communicate effectively with partners, clients, and staff.
• Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and staff.
• Travel as required for client meetings and business development.

Requirements

• 4-6 years of experience in labor and employment law.
• Experience with AmLaw 100 firm preferred.
• Admitted to practice in the state of California.

Education

• JD degree required.

Certifications

• Admitted to practice in California.

Skills
