Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Finance Associate in New York. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in commercial real estate financing, representing institutional lenders in complex transactions.

Duties

• Manage financing transactions from inception through closing.
• Draft and negotiate loan documents and related financing instruments.
• Review title, survey, zoning, and other due diligence materials.
• Coordinate with clients, borrowers' counsel, and other transaction participants.

Requirements

• 2-5 years of commercial real estate finance experience, preferably with institutional lenders.
• Experience drafting and negotiating loan documents and managing transactions through closing.
• Experience with AI platforms and natural language programming.
• Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong academic credentials.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree required.

Certifications

• Admission to the New York State Bar.
