Human Resources Generalist
The candidate will supports the annual staff compensation and bonus review processes, which includes researching and compiling market and historical data together with recommendations. Participates in annual audits of internal processes, documentation, and job descriptions; ensures accuracy of responsibilities, consistency and compliance with FLSA and applicable state laws. Proposes changes to existing policies and procedures to ensure continued compliance with federal, state and, local laws. Manages and streamlines the lifecycle processes of an employee, which includes onboarding, training, performance management, development, and terminations in accordance with firm objectives, as well as, federal and state requirements. Ensures immigration case files and Form I-9s are maintained and in compliance with federal requirements. Maintains employee personnel files and independent contractor agreements. Develops resources and tools to improve operational efficiency for the firmwide Human Resources department. Assists Directors with various HR projects as needed. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
