This opportunity is ideal for legal professionals with a background in mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loan origination, and a strong understanding of commercial real estate due diligence.

Location:

• Charlotte, North Carolina

Duties:

• Represent lenders in the financing of commercial real estate properties

• Handle the origination of mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loans

• Advise on loan securitization and syndication transactions

• Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial real estate due diligence

• Draft and review related financing and security documentation

• Coordinate with opposing counsel, title companies, and other third parties

Requirements:

• 2–4 years of relevant legal experience

• Experience representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions

• Familiarity with loan securitization and syndication

• Proficient in handling due diligence for commercial properties

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

Certifications:

• Admission to the North Carolina Bar (or eligibility for waiver/admission)

Skills:

• Strong analytical and legal research abilities

• Excellent drafting and negotiation skills

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities

• Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines

• Strong communication and client service orientation
