Duties:
Represent lenders in the financing of commercial real estate properties
Handle the origination of mortgage, mezzanine, and construction loans
Advise on loan securitization and syndication transactions
Conduct title, survey, lease, and other commercial real estate due diligence
Draft and review related financing and security documentation
Coordinate with opposing counsel, title companies, and other third parties
Requirements:
2–4 years of relevant legal experience
Experience representing lenders in commercial real estate finance transactions
Familiarity with loan securitization and syndication
Proficient in handling due diligence for commercial properties
Education:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Certifications:
Admission to the North Carolina Bar (or eligibility for waiver/admission)
Skills:
Strong analytical and legal research abilities
Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational capabilities
