Job Overview: A law firm specializing in Workers’ Compensation Defense in West Palm Beach, FL, is seeking an experienced Associate Attorney to join its team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and have graduated from an accredited law school. Additionally, candidates must be active members of the Bar or have recently taken the Bar Exam.

Duties:

• Provide legal representation to clients in workers’ compensation defense matters.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on relevant case law, statutes, and regulations.
• Prepare and draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and depositions on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and client representation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

• Experience practicing law, preferably in workers’ compensation defense.
• Graduation from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Bar of Florida or recent passage of the Bar Exam.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Proficiency in legal technology and software.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
