Duties

• Manage a caseload involving third-party liability, premises liability, personal injury, and insurance defense

• Conduct comprehensive legal research and case analysis

• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs

• Negotiate settlements and manage pre-trial strategies

• Provide strategic legal counsel to clients across various stages of litigation

• Stay current on developments in applicable laws and regulations

• Collaborate with attorneys, paralegals, and firm leadership to ensure client service excellence

• Maintain detailed and organized case files and documentation

Requirements

• 2+ years of relevant litigation experience

• Background in personal injury law, premises liability, or insurance defense preferred

• Ability to manage multiple matters with efficiency and accuracy

• Strong legal research and analytical skills

• Experience with negotiation and settlement of cases

• Proficiency using legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw)

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the state of Florida (required)
