Duties

• Manage a caseload of contested matters for mortgage lenders and investors.
• Appear in court for routine and contested hearings.
• Communicate regularly with clients for updates and resolutions.
• Analyze loan files, title reports, and other documents.
• Draft motions and prepare written discovery and responses.

Requirements

• J.D. degree, licensed in Texas, in good standing with the Texas Bar.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant litigation experience.
• Minimum 2 years of motion practice experience.
• Minimum 2 years of courtroom experience.
• Knowledge of Texas Mortgage Foreclosure Law.
• Knowledge of Texas Code of Civil Procedure and Supreme Court Rules.
• Experience with foreclosure litigation involving residential and commercial property.

• J.D. degree
