Senior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney

Profile

A law firm in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Toxic Tort Associate Attorney with 5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience. The ideal candidate will have experience, preferably in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence. They will be responsible for taking and defending expert and witness depositions, drafting original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters, and developing client relationships through oral and written communication. The position requires a self-motivated individual with high energy who is willing to complete responsibilities on deadline and has superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.

Duties:

• Take and defend expert and witness depositions.
• Draft original motions and other litigation-related documents on complex matters.
• Draft discovery requests and responses to be exchanged with various parties.
• Develop client relationships through oral and written communication.
• Prepare for trial, including motions in limine, exhibit lists, and witness lists.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from a top law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.
• 5+ years of asbestos or toxic tort litigation experience.
• Experience in high exposure, catastrophic personal injury cases, including products liability and general negligence.
• Self-motivated individual with high energy.
• Experience in a billable work environment.
• Superior written and oral communication skills with attention to detail.

Certifications:

California State Bar license.
